1:36 PM Fri, Mar 21, 2008 |

Playing across the country, early in the day, and facing a very hostile crowd did little to phase the Zags Friday; however Gonzaga simply had no answer for Davidson's All-Amercian Stephen Curry who put on one of the best NCAA Tournament performances this decade. Defense Comes Through

11:30 AM Tue, Feb 19, 2008 |

Monday night's game for first place in the WCC turned into a defensive struggle and the Zags defense was up to the test, leading to the huge 59-55 win at San Diego. San Diego came ready to play Monday and continued to play their slow, deliberate, and defensive style which has sparked their recent winning streak, but Gonzaga was able to grind out the win despite the slow tempo and low scoring final.

Gonzaga Reaches 20

10:39 AM Sun, Feb 17, 2008 |

The Zags won their third straight game Saturday night to open a three game road trip with a comfortable 83-63 win over San Francisco. While Gonzaga was never spectacular, they were very solid throughout and methodically put away the Dons in order to set up Monday night’s showdown in San Diego.
