Washington State University wide receiver Kevin Norrell was dismissed from the football on Tuesday.

The team's unity council (made up of players) made the decision and it was backed by the coaching staff.

Norrell was arrested early Sunday morning for driving under the influence, reckless driving, criminal trespassing, and driving without a license.

The sophomore will remain in school and the team will reevaluate his place on the team after the semester.
