Several former Washington State players were released by NFL teams over the past couple days, including Alex Brink (by the Texans), Michael Bumpus (by Seattle), and Jed Collins (by the Eagles).

The good news: some of them will be re-signed by the same team that cut them to be part of their practice squad (they have to clear waivers first).

One guy is already back (for the practice squad that is). Mkristo Bruce was re-signed by Jacksonville earlier today. He was dropped yesterday during the Jaguars final cuts.

It's early, so hopefully more will be brought back...check back for updates.

UPDATE - 3:17pm: The Seahawks just announced their practice squad.

Michael Bumpus is on the list.

Just for your information, a practice squad player gets paid a minimum of $5,200 a week.
