December 2007 ArchivesThe speculation can finally come to an end, because Paul Wulff is Washington State's new head football coach. As a professional I'm excited; as a fan I'm approaching this with caution. There are a lot of people debating wether he's the right guy or not. Otherwise, it was a calm day on the coaching scene. ...It's becoming more clear who the Cougars have contacted about the head coaching job. Other than that, it was a fairly slow day on the coaching front. ...I meant to get to this earlier (it's now Sunday morning), but it was a busy day. Lewis & Clark won the 4A state football title, Gonzaga beat Connecticut, Eastern lost in the quarterfinals to Appalachian State, and there were some big announcements on the coaching front. ... |
