10:49 PM Tue, Apr 03, 2007 |

Detectives in Thurston County are looking for the thief who cleaned out a recreation vehicle resort. Someone stole more than 7,000 feet of copper wire worth about $21,000 from Lost Lake Resorts on the 1500 block of Reservation Road SE, between March 5th and 6th.
The copper was to be installed during a wiring project, deputies said.
One of the employees at the Lost Lake Resorts actually confronted a suspicious man who detectives believe may have either been the culprit or an accomplice. However, the employee was not able to detain the man.
Thurston County Crime Stoppers released a bulletin Tuesday asking the public to help. The group is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest.
A suspect is described as a white male, 6-foot, 200 pounds. At the time, he was wearing a yellow, black and white jacket. He was also wearing jeans.
Crime Stoppers of Thurston County's phone number is, (360) 493-2222.
