JASON KADAH: Snowpocalypse 2008?

I thought I'd share some of my thoughts and observations on this gift of white that Mother Nature has given us for the Holidays.

Let me start off by saying that from a forecasting perspective, snow is one of the most interesting and challenging to forecast.

My name is Kevin Blocker, and I'm the website manager at KREM.com.

I'm not a warm-blooded transport from some cushy Southwestern climate. I grew up in Colorado and have been in Spokane for 14 years.

I did leave Spokane for less than a year briefly for Phoenix. I knew it wasn't good fit for me there after watching a pro football game on tv played in God-forsaken conditions in the Midwest where the snow was blowing sideways.
