SPOKANE - The memory of last winter will not be forgotten anytime soon.

It was a long and arduous time for many of us as we had to shovel our way out of driveways to get to streets and roads piled high and deep with powder.

The month of October has featured beautiful fall weather so far.

Normally October starts our wet season here in the Inland Northwest, but so far we've recorded only a little more than a quarter inch of rain. We normally collect over an inch of precipitation for the month.
