May 2009 ArchivesNows the time to get everything in the ground, pot and baskets. It's really important to get your vegetable garden started quickly. Our growing season can be rather short so you need to take advantage of every warm sunny day we get. I'm really looking forward to a garden this year. We haven't put in a garden for 10 years and I really missed it. The idea of picking fresh lettuce and tomatos for a salad to go with dinner just feels good... Last Wednesday it happened again. I had to break into local programming and interrupt several minutes of CBS Criminal Minds (one of my favorite shows). And yes the phone rang with some angry viewers who just don't understand why we do it. So I'll explain it again.
