I've rearranged my work schedule this summer so that I can come to your town. 've moved my Barbeque forecast from Fridays to Thursdays. I did this so I could get out on the road on Fridays and visit area towns during their community festivals. Many of the surrounding communities have great celebrations every summer and I want to do my weather forecast from these towns. If your community has a special festival let me know. I can't guarantee that I'll be at every one but I will get to some of them. My e-mail is tsherry@krem.com. I really think this could be a lot of fun. So bring on the warm weather and the funshine, hoping to see you soon. 6 CommentsLeave a comment |

Hi Tom,
I just watched your special on cooking beer can chicken. I have a question for you. What happens to the laminates on the beer can when you bring the metal's temperature up to 400 degrees F?
...and I want to move BACK to your town!!!! I miss Spokane and am looking for work so that I may return. I miss seeing Tom on the news, too!
Scott,
Another viewer e-mailed me with the same comment. He suggested using a metal soup can with the label removed. Frankly all of the recipes that describe how to cook a chicken this way don't mention the beer can logo being a problem. When I removed the cans after cooking I didn't notice a problem either. But better safe then sorry. I'll use a soup can next time.
Thanks for the comments.

Hi Tom, is it my imagination or has 2008 had more wind than average?
