Spokane recieved 1.6 inches of new snow overnight....with 5 inches at Mt Spokane and Lookout pass ski areas. The next system for tonight into Saturday may be weaker than expected...but I'm going to stick with a 2-4 inch forecast for the local area. A Winter Storm Watch is posted for the northern valleys....temps will moderate with highs near freezing this weekend. Expect more snow....Sunday night into Monday....by the middle of next week...its rain and snow.
