Icy roads this morning will slowly improve...with partly sunny skies this afternoon and a high around 35....which is nice following the deep freeze of recent days. Spokane picked up 1.3 snow overnight...CD'A manged 3"-4" while folks in Naples woke up to 8 inches of new snow. This is just the start of a snowy period that will last into the weekend. The next system will arirve Wednesday night into Thursday.....with some carryover into Friday. This will be a big snow producer for North Idaho...and I suspect Spokane will get an eary 3"-5" with possibly higher totals. Here's a shocker...Winter has arrived!
