I dont like surprises.....and we got one this morning with the rain. The forecasting charts at times over the past week indicated this could happen ....but in recent days....everyone seemed to discount the possibility...so I went with the crowd and got burned. Close to 2/10's of an inch has fallen this morning so far officially in Spokane. This really isnt the start of the big change thats being trumpeted...as high pressure wants to build back in for a couple of days before the big change for Saturday. Yet...with the introduciton of moisture....low clouds are going to be hard to get rid off over the next few days...and with the ground getting wet....frost will start to go in with the next cold snap...making it tough to dig with a shovel quite soon. Time to go into hibernation.
