Highs evey day so far this month have been above normal in the Spokane area....and that holds for today and tomorrow before the cool air associated with a pattern change arrives. I've been watching some of the other weather hounds in town and they all seem to want to mention snow alot...and not just for the mountains. It gets peoples attention....but why harp on a longshot....cry wolf, cry wolf. I admit to missing the change in the weather that arrived Wednesday and Thursday. Perhaps I'm wrong again....but the way I see it...look for real snow in Spokane around Thanksgiving. In the meantime..the snow level should hover around 3000 feet with plenty of rain.
