Up to 6 inches of new snow could be on the ground by mid - morning Thursday in the Spokane /CDA area . I'd better not call it a Winter storm....some guy called in yesterday and busted my chops because I mentioned something about a Winter storm...he's technically right....its still Fall.
Yet..if it looks like Winter and feels like Winter...to bad.
I'm usually very careful on these items....and I dont use the term storm very often. Weather systems we see around here really aren't storms other than in a technical sense...(or if you grew up in Cali).....better have alot of wind to go with the rain or snow for me to throw that term around...and I suspect I said Winter Storm in reference to one of the weather service hoisted watches and warnings....one was a "Winter Storm Watch."
Big deal....hey bud...can you snowshoe over to my igloo tomorrow to join me for some jumbo shrimp. Winter is still 3 weeks away....shovel on pilgrim.
