Look for the wind to pick up this afternoon about the time the rain winds down...some gusts could reach 25-30 MPH. After a brief break in the wet pattern overnight.....another surge of rain arrives Friday morning with more wind.
The weekend still looks unsettled...mostly cloudy with a chance of showers.
Monday features a warmup and perhaps mostly sunny skies. Snow flies in the mountains above 5000' in the meantime. There's alot of TV hype on this.....in my mind ....the change of seasons is normal and about on schedule.....I was snowed on a month ago in the Eagle Cap Wilderness....the only thing missing from this October is a nice spell of Indian Summer weather.
