Alexander cracked his wrist. That was the word from Seahawks doctors today. Well this time he can play with the crack. Holmgren said this afternoon that Alexander will play against the Niners on Sunday and will continue to wear the cast until he heals. I have to give Alexander props; he managed 100 yards this weekend and ran harder after almost being booed off the field. I hope he is getting the message from fans and the press that it is time to step it up. Speaking of stepping it up, Nate “Jekyll and Hyde” Burleson sure made his money this weekend. After a couple of drops, Nate caught the game winning touchdown. I like Nate, he might have trouble with the West Coast Offense, but he will give you his all every time he hits the field. Maybe they should move his locker next to Alexander. Does anyone out there agree that Deon Branch was so worth a draft choice? Hasselbeck and Branch look like they have played together for years. This is going to be something special fans. Branch and Hasselbeck are going to make a lot of yards and touchdowns over the next few years. As for Chad “Cinco Ocho” Johnson from the Bengals, he said he had something special for the Seahawks fans during the game. I guess it was the dropped passes. Thanks Chad. The Niners are next fans. This is going to be war, and already we are fighting for first place in the division. Giving the Niners a loss in the division and moving to 3-1 would be a big boost for our team. It’s time to rally fans, put those Seahawk shirts and hats on, get some beer, make the cheese dip; it’s time to watch our team take the division lead!! GO HAWKS. |
