It hasn't been this hot since August 2nd....and while this heat wave is only going to be a 3 day affair...temperatures will peak Wednesday at 95 degrees in Spokane. These temps are shy of records and this heat wave wont be a brutal as what we saw in July becasue of shorter daylight hours to work with and a lower angle of the sun. The upcoming weekend looks dry and pleasantly warm with temps back in the 80's. Thunderstroms late Thursday will bring the cooling trend.
