Nearly ideal conditions today lead to a heat wave for the 4th of July. Sunny skies and highs in the 80s make this Tuesday a classic weatherwise...and who among us can really complain about firecracker hot weather on the 4th. Do you really want to go back to the 1990s when Summer started on July 5th around here? Cloudy, rainy and 52...might sound pretty good though considering this July 5th is shaping up to be a record breaking for parts of the region...possibly Spokane. The record high is 100.....I'm forecasting 100.....the weather service web page has it around 107....but if you follow that web page....its almost always wrong......putting us to hot. We'll see this time.....bottom line....It's going to be hot thru the weekend and into next week. |
