A cool, damp, cloudy day in the Spokane area has it feeling like early Spring today. Early morning rainfall in Spokane amounted to nearly a quarter of an inch....and scattered showers may develop this afternoon. A broad troff of low pressure is responsible for the cool unsettled weather. This feature will slowly shift east today with a slow warming trend for the rest of the week. Temperatures are expected to get back to normal by mid-week with 70's expected for the holiday weekend. The pattern still looks to be a bit unsettled into Memorial day...so expect a fair amount of cloud cover and even a chance of a few passing showers. The picture will be clearer over the next few days. |
