Prep softball standouts Lauran Nagrone (Post Falls), Kala Allred (Timberlake), and Coeur d' Alene High School products Jenna Delong and Kylie Chandler aren't just starring for their hometown programs. They have been displaying their skills year round on the National stage. The Spokane Sliders 18U Gold Program. The Sliders, led by Shadle Park High School skipper George Lynn, have compiled the finest area softball talent in pursuit of gaining exposure for the top fastpitch sensations in the Inland empire traveling to tournaments as far as California, Oklahoma, and Florida.
The program that features feeder programs as young as 12U, has a particular mission in mind. As our players emerge in this program, they continue to be challenged, with the hopes of playing at the college level. Together we are building future college players, one year at at time. Mission accomplished.

I had the pleasure of watching Post Falls take on Lake City in an Inland Empire League contest last week. With the bases juiced and the home Trojans down 4-0, slugger Lauran Nagrone stepped to the plate. Two pitches into the count, the junior phenom sent one packing, crushing her first ever grand slam sparking the PF comeback triumph. Laurans father, James Nagrone, had a grin that stretched from Spokane to Pinehurst. He was a proud papa to say the least. " All that time and money that goes into her summer team (The Sliders) is really paying off" said Nagrone, who is also an assistant softball coach for the Sliders. You can't put a price tag on a moment like that. This program is worth every penny.
