Temperaturers warm to the low 60's today with a slight chance of afternoon showers. The morning features low clouds and local fog as the atmosphere is quite saturated in the wake of Monday evening's Thunderstorm. It dropped more than 8/10's of an inch of rainfall and the day's tally ended up at 1.11" of rain officially in Spokane. Contrast that with the Spokane Valley where Felts Field logged .38" hundreds of an inch as the Thunderstorm was much less pronounced....and much of that rainfall came with morning showers. The feature that generated Monday's active weather has moved to Southwestern Montana with clouds rotating back into the Inland Northwest today. There may be a few isolated afternoon showers locally...with a high of 62....representing an 8 degree warmup from Monday. There may be some more showers Thursday and again late Saturday and Sunday with high temperatures reaching the lower 70's. Normal is currently 68. |
