The weather matches a rather somber Memorial day...considering another 1000 US troops have lost their lives in Irag since last years observance....according to news reports. Here on the home front....conditions dry out in time for the ceremony at the Iwo Jima memorial at 11...though it will be cloudy, cool, and breezy.
Life goes on and the sun will begin to shine late this afternoon with an evening clearing trend....so BBQ plans still have the green light. Summerlike conditions develop Tuesday with sunny, warm weather thru Saturday. Highs will be the warmest of the year so far...in the mid to upper 80's.
