North Idaho Preps Feature D-I Talent

7:07 AM Wed, Apr 25, 2007 |

The Idaho Panhandle has produced a plethora of standout athletes that have taken their game to various levels of collegiate competition. But getting to pinnacle that is NCAA Division I has been the road less traveled in the dense area of the gem state.

District I (North Idaho High Schools) features only 5 larger sized high schools (700-1200 students in 4A-5A) with a with an abundance of med-smaller sized schools leaving the opportunity to compete at the NCAA I level few and far between.

The North Idaho class of 2007 had other ideas.
