It's just a play on words because the region needs rainfall...to counter what has been a rather dry Spring so far. Rainfall is an inch and two-thirds behind scheducle so far this year in Spokane. i was out yesterday in the aspragus patch doing some weeding and it takes some work to get the big grass clods out....as the soil dries up. The crop is coming up...Ii found many 2 inch spears developing.....I normally can cut by April 15th ...and this year will be about the same.
