Chillin' Out

7:52 AM Tue, Apr 10, 2007 |

A cool spell continues today with the chance of afternoon showers.

Today's weather is a reminder of why we can't put our tomatoes out for awhile y....with morning temperatures below freezing... and it will be even colder tomorrow morning as a pocket of cool unstable air resides over the region. While no organized frontal boundaries effect the area today....this cool unsettled airmass tends to produce clouds as daytime heating begins and these towering cumulus clouds will lead to scattered shower activity in far Eastern Washington into the Panhandle this afternoon.
Temperatures return to normal Thursday with above normal readings Friday into the weekend.
