Recent snowfall may just be the tip of the iceberg with more to come over the next seven days. Thursday's snowfall was 1.6 inches officially in Spokane, hardly cause for excitment given that it is still February in a northern climate. Yet it's shaping up to be the beginning of a trend. Today could feature a few instability generated snow showers, though the region is in between weather systems. That changes tomorrow...with an organized Pacific system. Look for a one to three inch snowfall locally. I don' t see any major snowfalls over the next week....but a constant flow of systems in a broad upper level troff will bring us mainly snow at times....though mixed precip is possible. |
