Bands of rain showers move thru the area mainly this morning.....the late afternoon hours may feature a few sunbreaks...helping to push the high to 40.

Overnight lows remained above freezing locally. A stronger system arrives tomorrow morning....featuring a decent moisture tap. Look for more in the way of a steady light rain rather than showers. The pattern looks to be unsettled into next week. While the weather is a bit messy, with frost coming out of the ground...the area could use the moisture. So far this year, Spokane's rain and melted snow total is nearly an inch and a half below normal.
