It seemed fitting that our crazy twisting and turning season would end with a curve ball field goal to send us in to the long off-season. It also seemed fitting that we ended in overtime in Chicago with the flashes of brilliance we would see so few times this season. It was also fitting that we forced Grossman to beat us, and he did. It has truly been a tough year to be a Seahawk. Players, Coaches, and Fans all had to endure the rocky road of this injury filled season.
Now it is time to look ahead to the next season. Many questions need to be answered. Will Mack Strong return? Will Mike Holmgren return? (Miami may be calling). Will Marcus Tubbs return? Will Tim Ruskell top his Hutchinson screw up? Will Alexander run like he did in the playoffs? (That would be nice.) Will our team get that fire and determination back to shake off this season and return next season in championship form? All of these questions will be answered in the year ahead. The count down to training camp will begin soon fans. This blog will continue. Check back often and be sure to drop me a comment if you would like to. It was tough fans, but as I said most of the 25 years before. “There’s always next season.” |
