Sure...its cold, cloudy, and gloomy this morning in the Spokane area...but I look for the sun to shine by afternoon. My birdseye view from the mountains shows the upper air has cleared in the wake of yesterdays light snow...and the low cloud cover is not overly thick. With a dry NE wind flow, I have every expectation that we will see a clearing trend....however, these low clouds can be a real buggabo and afternoon sun is not a slam dunk forecast. Talk about cold....the morning low hit 9.....yesterday's snowfall was officially at 1/2 inch....yes aunt Margaret its still January. Early February doesnt look all that rosey...an arctic front arrives late Thursday with bitter cold windy weather Friday. A new wrinkle in the 7 day outlook brings snow into the region this weekend. |
