The Seahawks limp in to Denver

1:52 PM Thu, Nov 30, 2006 |

If you read the injury and illness list for the Seahawks, you wonder how the heck they can keep going on. I can't remember a season where so many wierd things happened to so many players at once. It's crazy.

New this week. Hasselbeck broke a finger, Jackson tweaked his knee. Add to the list of Tobek out with an infection, Engram out with a thyroid problem, Locklear continues to have issues with his ankle. Luckily the broken finger won't keep Hasselbeck out, and Shaun is looking better. What a game he had Monday, that was awesome for him.

I am still not convinced that our defense is any good fans. The jury is out, they missed tackles again when playing the Packers. They made stops when they had to, but too many missed tackles for my taste.

Denver should be a great game. You have a new starter in Denver and hopefully a Seattle Defense that can stop the run. Maybe we can force some errors and get some consistent defense. It will be interesting to see Hasselbeck back with a game under his belt.

Nate Burleson is a class act and a great reciever. I wonder if he is taking to many chances while returning punts. He hasn't messed it up yet, but he scares me a bit when he tries to field punts and make plays.

Be sure to check KREM.com and KREM 2 Sports for your latest Seahawks stories.

Well fans more thoughts to come after the game on Sunday. Go Hawks!! (Oh yeah and no injuries this week).
