If you are a Seahawks Fan and you do not have a “man crush” on Josh Brown, you should. With ice water in his veins, Brown steps up with 9 seconds left and hits a 38 yarder in the rain and doesn’t even look that surprised when it went through. It not only went through it went right down the middle. This guy has been the only consistent offense of the year. Josh Brown is my MVP so far this season. My “man crush” on Brown does not detract from my excitement and joy over how Seneca Wallace and Maurice Morris have played. It may look like a pre-season game when the Seahawks offense takes the field, but these guys have done what it takes to put Brown in a position to win these games. Not very many teams in the NFL can lose this many key guys and still be competitive.

This was a wild one. Yes I had the brats soaking in beer; we had chips, and veggies and all the good things you want for football at our house. It does not matter who the players are, just that the Seahawks are taking the field. And like Seahawks Rams games in the past, this one was way too close. I love exciting games, but I am ready for a boring old Seahawk rout to calm my nerves.

Some dumb things. 4th and 5 on the 39 yard line and Hamlin intercepts the ball on the 5. Knock it out of bounds and give us the ball on the 40! DUMB!! Rams 4th and 1, they challenge blow off 3 points and pass the ball in the red zone. Meanwhile Steven Jackson “a tank” is not even in the play. DUMB!! Rams, why don’t they run the ball? Jackson is huge. This guy carries people in to the endzone. DUMB!! I fear the day when the Rams coaching staff wakes up and uses Jackson the way they should.

Some great things. Nate Burleson, what a punt return. That play made everyone in my house go crazy. That is the type of big play we need. GREAT!! Seneca Wallace, two fumbles, very forgivable. The line really let him down. Little should have been double-teamed all day. However, Seneca was poised and led a very difficult offense with accurate passing and smart decisions. GREAT!! Josh Brown. What is left to say? Josh is just cool. They even took a shot of him on the sidelines spitting a loogie and he looked cool. GREAT!!
