What a long strange trip its been. The winter of 2005/2006 that is. We have definately gone full circle. Let me refresh your memory. At the end of November and the beginning of December we received about 11" of snow. Then it got cold. Really cold, for about 3 weeks. Then the thaw just before Christmas and it stayed above freezing in the daytime through most of January and the first of February. All we got in the lower elevations was rain, plenty of rain. But during these last 3 weeks of February we're right back where we started, cold. Bitter cold for much of February. Even though our Arctic air is now modifying I still anticipate mostly below average temperatures. for the rest of the month. As I said before what a long strange trip its been as we've come full circle.
