Fred Russell appeared in Ireland's High Court this morning but was told to come back Friday. The judge handling the case was delayed by another hearing and pushed Russell's hearing back to the 24th. US Marshals tell KREM 2 all the paperwork is in place and the hearing should take place as scheduled. We don't expect to get a decision on Friday. The judge will likely consider the arguments for a day to a couple weeks before releasing his decision. No matter what happens, the losing side will likely appeal and the case will drag on into summer.
